MARTY RUNS AWAY WITH 33rd FLYNN FAMILY PEERLESS PROGNOSTICATOR BOWL POOL
EXTON (AP) – The College Football Playoff Championship game was nothing more than a victory lap for Marty who had the bowl pool locked up prior to kickoff. Marty earned 1 point which was more than he needed. Marty was at or near the top of the leaderboard from the start of the bowl pool and began to pull away from the field on New Year’s Day.
The game did have an impact on the rest of the standings. Alyssa earned a 6 and moved into 2nd place. Her highest finish in the bowl pool. Kaity also got a 6. Sarah earned a 4 moving her into 3rd ahead of Matt who had a disastrous finish. Matt scored a 0 and only managed 8 points total in the last 7 games. Joie, Joyce, Chris – 2. Josie – 0. Betty earned a 2 in her practice selection.
It was another challenging year for the Flynn Bowl Pool. Multiple bowl games were canceled, sometimes on only a few hours’ notice. Almost all of the games had opt-outs making predicting the outcome more of a guess than a prediction. It seems the opt-outs will be something that the bowl pool deals with moving forward, hopefully, the cancelations arent! Congrats to Marty for overcoming the difficult conditions.
