JOIE HANGS ON TO WIN 31ST FLYNN FAMILY PEERLESS PROGNOSTICATOR BOWL POOL
EXTON, Penna. – Joie was able to fend off both JoJo and Marty and hung on to win the 31st Flynn Family Peerless Prognosticator Bowl Pool. This is Joie’s second bowl pool title. Her last championship came in 2016.
In one of the stranger years for the bowl pool in recent memory, Joie took the lead on New Year’s Eve and never looked back. JoJo kept pace with her mom, and Marty had a late push to get within three. But once all the picks were in it was almost certain Joie would at least earn a share of the title.
Clemson absolutely demolished Alabama 44-16 in the College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday night. Joie had the Tide covering, but correctly predicted the game over. 2 points was all she needed to lock up her second title in four years and bring the waterfordcrystal back to Exton.
The 31st bowl pool got off to a rough start with the First Responder Bowl getting canceled. Things stayed weird with some “interesting” bowl games capped off by the stunning blowout of Alabama by Clemson. Points were hard to come by for all of the Flynn’s this year. But with 10 games to go, Joie took the lead and never looked back.
