12/30, 12/31: Worst stretch in bowl pool history?

Most of the Flynn’s ended the year on the wrong note.

December 30th and 31st consisted of 8 games in where everyone’s average points scored was 1.45. There were twenty-nine 0’s scored in this stretch. Not surprisingly 7 of the 8 games were considered upsets.

At the end of the day on December 29th Chris and Marty Jr. were tied for the lead. After the first game on December 30th Joyce took over first place and never looked back.

Marty Jr. scored 9 points during this span which gave him an impressive 1.12 average. The rest of the men scored 8 points in 8 games. Marty Sr. scored 6 of his 8 points in the Armed Forces Bowl.

Both Joie and Joyce managed to do OK during this stretch scoring 19 and 18 points respectively. Not that 18 or 19 points in 8 games is good, but they fared much better than the rest of the field.
