DAY 4: BOWL POOL AIN’T A TRACK MEET…IT’S A MARATHON

At one point yesterday, newcomers to the bowl pool Sarah and Kaity, were tied for first. After the late games, the  Joyce had a 9 point lead. It was a lesson for them and a good reminder to all just who runs the bowl pool. If you ever get a lead enjoy it. It probably won’t last long.

In other news… JoJo has jumped into third place and is having a nice debut with her strategy of picking 1’s and 99’s for scores. Marty made a nice comeback last night to move up to fourth but needs a lot to fall his way to get back into it.

And last year’s champ Joie has 8 points over 9 games. She is on pace for the worst performance in a bowl pool ever by a long shot – averaging .8 points a game. In comparison, last year Alyssa had the worst performance ever and she averaged a whole 2 points a game. In fairness to Joie; Chris, Matt, and this year’s version of Alyssa are also averaging 2 points or under. Pretty much everyone but Joyce is doing bad.

The Bulls are one of three double-digit favorites in this year’s bowl pool. Didn’t work out so well for Temple.
