Ohio State dominates heavily favored Oregon; wins the first College Football Playoff.

Despite losing their first and second string quarterbacks. Despite most thinking they had no chance to even get to the playoff after a week 2 loss to Virginia Tech. Despite 4 turnovers tonight! Ohio State showed up and kicked Oregon up and down the field. The final score was 42 to 20, but it could have been much, much worse.

The Buckeyes were powered by Ezekiel Elliot who Oregon could not stop under any circumstance.  He had 4 touchdowns and 250 yards. Cardale Jones had 3 turnovers (2 his fault) but played well and none of the Ducks seemed interested in tackling him. I do not blame them. He resembles a tank or some type of large truck. Oregon got off to a quick start but that was about it. Ohio State’s defense only allowed one other touchdown on a broken play. Heisman winner Marcus Mariota played well, but really couldn’t get anything going.

Not that it matters, but Matt, Sarah, Alyssa, and Marty get 6s. Joie 5, Kaity 4, Joyce and Chris 2s. Joyce ends up winning by a comfortable 8 point margin over Joie.
